POWERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Council of Science shall be responsible, within the territory, for the:

conduct of scientific activities; and

oversight of the education process; and

provision of scientific opinion to:

     o National Council; and

     o Council of Law; and

     o Council of Democracy; and

auditing and reporting on the system, in accordance with the Principles of Science

The Principal of Science are as defined by the Australian Academy of Science:

OBJECTIVES

The objective of the Council of Science is to:

deliver an outcome that benefits the Australian society; and

assists Australia to protects and enhances the future of the planet; and

ensure that the knowledge and insight that comes from the practice of science is translated into daily benefits for all.
