Community Councils

APPENDIX 3

POWERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Community Council shall be responsible, within the territory, for the:

• conduct of government in the area; and

• oversight of the delegated programs ; and

• provision of advice to:

     o National Council; and

     o Council of Law; and

     o Council of Democracy; and

• auditing and reporting in accordance with the Principles of the Council of Democracy
